Is this vintage dress by Claude Montana?

    I don't see the resemblance to the Montana labels in our resource with this one.

    Your dress looks like a 1950s or very early 1960s to me cotton day dress and Claude Montana only really began showing his design work in the mid-70s.

    I think the label on yours is more likely a manufacturer's label from that time frame.

    Perhaps someone else here has had a dress with the label you are showing us.

    It is a very pretty easy to wear summer dress!

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply! There's a size label in the dress that reads '38'. Would this indicate a 50s or 60s dress? The back zipper is metal.

    It is most likely 1950s, difficult as this style did continue into the early 60s as well.
