It\'s A Butte! But Is It A Coat Or Dress?

I would say coatdress too. However, depending on the material I suppose you could wear it for a light spring coat if you wanted to.

That collar could be very late 60s as well. But being Butte Knit, it probably is 70s.

I LOVE that.
 
I forgot to post the label. Here it is.

It is a knit but has some weight to it but not too heavy.

And look what I found in the Fall 2005 collection. Do you think I should list now or a little later? Oh my...

Also might compare to the military coat with the shiny buttons which will be popular this Fall and Winter.
 
that crisp navy look one usually sees in the spring with specatotor shoes.

I have had that label before (minus the fabric content) in a butte knit jacket. i think it was late 60s, but this label could have continued on til who knows when. i think the crisp "dress blues" meets graphic angle would definitely work. I am not sure when to say to list.
 
This could be late 60s, early 70s. The thing I love about Butte knit is it's quality and most can be worn all year round.
 
Sandra, this is possible. Never thought of that. I think a bright red, yellow, or a lime green dress would look good, too.:eureka: Layer it, ya know?
 
I can imagine a bright red shell. Let the first few buttons of the dress stay open. or leave it open like a tunic. I have a long dress that i do that with and you wouldn't know it wasn't supposed to be like that
