Jacqmar "Alice in Black Out" print

    No, it isn't mine, but it could be! This dress is being offered in the Augusta Auctions sale on September 15.

    Early 1940s, silk printed with Jacqmar's "Alice in Black Out", complete with Bacchus cavorting with ladies and Eros ready to strike (my interpretation).

    I have never seen this print before, and wow—what cheek!

    Truly! and must be so rare. I know the scarves are rare enough but the clothing is even more difficult to find of the Jacqmar propaganda pieces!!
