John Marks

I found this mod wool dress at the thrift store yesterday but I'm having trouble finding any info on the label. Was John Marks a designer or a store? It's a nicely made dress, the fabric is a sturdy wool. The influence from Courrèges and Pierre Cardin is obvious. Am I right in thinking it's from the 1960s? The zipper is a metal Lightning zipper, I feel it's a replacement. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
