Kansai Yamamoto: Fabulous Feathered Find

Hi, I was wondering if you have any information about this Kansai Yamamoto Feathered vest. I was told it was part of David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust tour stage costumes that was never worn on stage. I’m interested in finding out approximate year 70’s or 80’s? Im not sure if it’s missing part of the label or if being a costume would it have any label other than shown in the attached pic. Also,style, collection name, feathers (peacock perhaps?) or just any info you may have. I found only 1 online pic from vogue 1971 collection that resembles this style. Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated. ~Melisa

The feathers are from a rooster, specifically a rooster's hackle feathers.
