L.A. Frock Stars Smithsonian Channel

If we can stand to wait, we could rent the entire season from Netflix. That's my plan. I've watched the full first episode free online (at Smithsonian Channel web site), and enjoyed it. Was a very refreshing change from the typical reality shows, including those that were supposedly about vintage, which focused on the personalities and conflicts of the shop owners and their staff (ugh). This was really about the clothes.

Jody, tell us more about your involvement?

I'm so bummed, I watched the short clips on the Smithsonian channel's website and I would realllyy like to see the show but it's absolutely impossible! Amazon and itunes won't allow it because I live outside the US. Can't even find an illegal download. I even asked the dutch TLC if they are planning to air the show (because they have multiple reality fashion programs) but the answer was no :(

I am like years late, but anyway... Cathay Pacific had several episodes of L.A. Frock Stars on their entertainment system on my trip to Australia, and I have to say, I got totally sucked in, I think I could have watched this for the whole length of the flight :hysterical:! So interesting and fun too to watch - and just about the perfect thing to watch on a plane and make the time pass quickly. Doris and her crew are stars - no question!
