Label Dating - Ted Lapidus

Just my guesswork but I'd say your label is later than these. If you key 'Ted Lapidus logo' into Google you see that same 'T and L' logo that you have on your label, which suggests to me it's later in date. Ted Lapidus was bought out by the Jacques Bogart Group in 1998 which might have been the impetus for a logo change but I've seen that TL logo on an ad as early as 1985. Part of the problem seems to be that they had 1001 different label styles - they are all over the place!

If you want help dating a garment - it's best if you can post photos of the whole garment, not just the label. The label is just one part of the puzzle, and can only tell you so much, on it's own.
