I just thought I show you my latest purchases a 40's handbag and hat.

It was bought from a VFG member so I pretty confident on the date , I cannot find a label so just wondering if any one could add any more info or if it reminded them of any they see or sold

and at the same time I bought this hat again the label has been cut out

Oh, what a fantastic purse! That will look so good with the outfit you showed us! And the black hat will really enhance the choice of the black stockingss. I always like it when the top and bottom colors match and kind of "cap off" the look.

Pauline, I remember your plum jacket and was thinking the same -- it's perfect (and especially like the deep purple lining as well). And the feathers look like they wrap around the hat in the most elegant fashion. I hope you're able to post more pictures when time allow.
