leg o\' mutton sleeves?... unique fur trimmed coat

Hi everyone,
There are the most unique sleeves I have seen on a clutch coat...
They seem like a stylized leg o' mutton?
I am writing this up now but won't list until this evening so I can change my description if I am wrong.
What say you?
Thanks!
Michelle

Hi Michelle!

What about bishop sleeve? I think leg o mutton is the oppisite of what you have, puffed at the shoulder and tight fitting the rest of the way.

Ya, the more I think about it the more I would have to say bishop.

Yep - they look like they are a full bishop or balloon sleeve that is darted to the wrist rather than gathered.

Unless there is a horizontal seam around the arm under that fur trim, and then they would be a Lantern sleeve.

I've only seen a couple of coats with this type of sleeve, and every one of them has been lovely and unique looking. Lynn had a 30s coat I believe
about a year ago that was absolutely phenomenal, it also had this type of sleeve (except the sleeves were so 'bishop-y, I think it was more 'pope' :D )

Thanks so much everyone!!
I finally listed it!
Am I the only one still listing coats?
:)
It has been snowing here so it got me in the mood!
Thanks again for your help!
