I came accross this really strange levis (at least for me). Not sure if they are vintage or even authentic! Can anyone help with this please. Ive tried to find a yellow label like this online but nothing there. There are no labels on inside the trousers and the red tag is embroidered . Thank you

I agree, some things look strange about these jeans, and it's not clear in everything if that is a design feature or poor execution. Unfortunately, we cannot authenticate items on the forums, but lets see if anyone else has some general input.

Are there any labels, like care labels, inside? If yes, please post photos of them as well.

Thank you for your reply. There is no labels inside which seems a bit odd. Maybe its fake then. cant imagine authentic levis with no tags :(

I would be wary of them: popular brands were the first to be copied and I just can't imagine any real Levi's featuring that strange red stitching on the back pockets, and the asymmetrical seams.

I did find this official page which has a similar logo from the '30s but these were made long after that judging by the embossed button.

I just did a google search for ‘Levi’s two horse brand yellow label’ in images, and it showed up a jacket with a similar printed Levi’s design label and ‘retro’ style that someone is selling online - eBay us 284364414559. (There’s another similar jacket on eBay U.K. 274752606503)

Their jacket does have a fairly modern looking care tag - or at least modern post 2000ish? - and it has some interesting design features too (workwear style denim jacket with tails, plus rather wonky over stitching..)

As Karin mentioned above it’s hard to say if that’s a design feature, or a manufacturing flaw. Maybe with a little digging you can work out if they are an old diffusion line, or counterfeit.

I’d guess 2000 or even 2010s date wise by the style (whoever manufactured them) but that’s just my opinion at a glance, afraid I’m not a denim expert by a long shot!
