Lilli Diamond label question

Hello,
I purchased a Lilli Diamond of California silver cocktail dress from a thrift store but I am confused about the label it has. It seems to have a second label sewn onto the back of the original. It seems to be made of paper/cardboard, not cloth. It hangs down below the original and is imprinted with a number and the words Lilli Diamond.
I am new to vintage dresses so any help would be appreciated. thank you so much.

These paper manufacturer tags are quite common in vintage garments, meant to be torn off before wearing.
