List now or for Xmas party season???

One of my new faves. A most enchanting golden green organza halter dress with superb bust enhancing bodice and matching bolero. Should I list now or for the Xmas party season??? I suspect that prom buying season is pretty much over.

Thanks for any insight!

Bonnie,

Prom season may be pretty well over, but this type of dress is still doing really well. I would list now, maybe with a
reserve. It is fabulous!

I'm with Sue. The organza is beautiful, and so summery. And if it doesn't sell, you always have the holiday season when everyone needs a dress like this.

Whoa, that is incredible! I agree on running it ANY TIME and I'd feature it, too. :)

Thanks you guys. Feature...really?? I could use some pricing help on this. The size is good, the bust is about 40".

Also, I posted on VCA and someone said it didn't look like organza but acetate or taffeta?? Okay, I am no fabric expert, but I thought organza was a lightweight but slightly crisp semi sheer fabric with a bit of irridescence to it. Please correct me if I am a fabric nitwit!

Not here, it ain't. ;)

We have gals & guys coming in every day loking for prom wear.

A Lot of them aren't til mid-June. So if ya listed it right this minute for 5 days ;) you'd still have time to send it off!

Here is a closeup of the fabric. Could someone please confirm that this is indeed organza.

Thanks so much!

It surely looks like organza to me. I couldn't tell how sheer it was until seeing the close-up. Is it an organza layer over a taffeta layer?
