This was shoved into the bottom of a scarf lot I bid on. I squealed in delight when I saw it! ;) Then I tried to put it on and got depressed :( The top might fit with a little adjustment, but the bottoms only came up to my mid-thigh and wouldn't budge haha. Oh well. Anyway, I wanted to show it off. Going to list it online Sunday. Hope someone else loves it as much as me!
 
That is adorable! I remember having one very similar to this. I was a pre-teen, maybe about twelve. Or lawd I am telling my age here, must have been about 1965.

I remember I loved it so much, it was mint green gingham check and the ruffles gave the illusion of having something up top and hips!

Brenda, i, too had a green gingham (mine was lime green, tho) with white lace ruffles, not as many as this one, and a more bikini cut bottom, and mine was (erghhh!) late 60s/early 70s. i also was SOOO happy with it for the same reason: the ruffles made me look i had SOME thing up top, anyway...

that is adorable, and pink should FLY for you! nice find!

btw, i'd try to steam those top ruffles a bit, if you can so they really pouf up and out nice and full!!

I'm listing the bikini today (blubirdboutique on ebay). Never know what to list my stuff for, so I usually go high with best offer. I would say this is an XS. Too small for me :( Bust is only 30 inches, but could probably be adjusted easily with a seamstress. Good news is I am having more of these made! I will have them in larger sizes, most likely by spring next year. If anyone has any update/suggestions on the style please do share. :)
