This week, come along with us and embrace the tropical breezes, rainbow of colors, and native peoples of Hawaii and Oceania. (Oceania refers to all the Pacific Islands: Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji, and the rest.) Imagine: a Tiki Bar by the beach, views of palm trees, the deep blue Pacific Ocean, pink sand beaches accompanied by the sound of the pounding surf with, perhaps, the music of South Pacific wafting in the background.

Now you're in the mood! So, post your vintage Hawaiian and tropical print dresses, shirts, shorts, swimwear, & fabrics. Don't forget Tiki, totem or surf-inspired items. Fish, sea creatures, and dolphin-themed items are welcome, along with island-beachy sunglasses, hats, footwear & accessories, too. Aloha!

Love this parade! I've got some patterns to make your perfect look for the tiki bar. I am headed to New Zealand and Fiji again shortly, can't wait for some good Polynesian & Melanesian vibes! The moment a big Fijian guy greets you with an even bigger "Bula!", everything in the world is allright!

Love the Tiki Gardens pamphlet in your photo compilation! I lived across the street from there in 1968, I really loved the talking myna birds. It was a busy place back then, too bad it has been gone for quite some time.
