May 4th Fashion Parade *CHECK THIS OUT!*

Some great pieces. Especially the 1940's rayon dress, Julie's black and white with red buttons, the green plaid bolero suit and the red and white organza dress with the amazing bodice. Did this dress have at one time a matching gingham skirt I wonder? Organza over taffeta was a typical way of layering petticoats.
 
Just wanted to add this '50's outfit - which is NFS! Purchased at the Vintage Fashion Expo in SF in March. I added the belt. (It has belt loops but the belt was long gone). It's chartreuse and very dark navy with jet buttons. I wear it with '50's jet earrings and a black japanned flower brooch. It's become one of my fav's!
