Military Cap

Hi! I found a well-worn military cap, and want to know the history behind it. We know the shop that it was manufactured in (Nudelman Bros.) but are curious to learn what year, war, or branch it's from? There are two pins on the side with the letter P. Any insights or leads would be appreciated! Thank you!

While I am not well versed in military caps, I can add that brass buttons with the letter P can often be from policeman's caps or uniforms. This one appears to be a summer cap or from a country that has a warm climate.

Hopefully someone here will recognize it.

I agree that the "P" brass button is a common generic Police button. The open cane band, as Barbara says, indicates a summer wear hat.
Nudelman Brothers is in VFG's Label Resource, but the entry doesn't offer much help in dating your hat.
