Posting this here for Valeria - aka "blacklilith" - who asked me about Mod wedding dresses via my website and has just joined the forum. (hello Valeria, you got here very quickly!)

On the lookout for mod/60s wedding dresses.

Not totally sure what styles you are looking for Valeria, perhaps you could explain on here what you have in mind, or if anyone has anything currently for stale or has any ideas, please post here.

Thanks!

love, moons and starrs,
Senti.*

Since I emailed you back Valeria, I've been doing a little hunting around for you.

I've found an online shop that has a very beautiful classy long 1960s wedding dress, and also a super cute 1960 lacey wedding mini dress (similar to the ones I had in mind when I emailed you). I've never shopped there myself, but thought with such ultra lovely dresses it may be worth checking out:
The Vintage Vault

I love the lacey mini one myself, it's so very me... but I never intend to get married so it would be very stupid of me to buy it. . :(

I've also found an *example* of lace sleeves and collar on a mini dress, but this particular one has already sold. Gives you an idea of what I was thinking of though:
Vintage Treasures Galore

Or you could do what many 60s girls do and choose a lovely non-wedding but smart 60s suit or dress and wear that instead.

I have a 60s wedding dress, but I don't know that it is Mod.

It's on my site in The 60s and 70s section.

couldn't find it - it was in the dry cleaning bag, as i was just getting it done to list on website. maybe a bit too cilla? late 60's i reckon and one of my favourite things!

off to cleaners and will be on website in april.

if only my mum still had hers - it was a short white shift number with a bit of texture, 1968. I'd never fit into it, being a full 6" taller...

;)

There are pictures of her in it, but not with me alas. All of them quite informal - perhaps I'll come across one next time I'm home.

hi, l hope l may be able to help, but am fast and furiosly selling out of short mini dresses. I have one white, lacy mini number which should be with me in a week or so....l shall try and find that photo..

my email is [email protected]

its easier to upload pics this way and l can send them...

how many do you want and what size?? and what is the ladies colouring or colour preferences?? these are my essential queries..!!??

I have a 60s Suzy Perette. Let me see if I can take a picture.

You can definelty tell that it's getting near the wedding height of season!!!!!

All these dresses make me want to get remarried to my hubby all over again so I can wear a cool MOD wedding dress.......:clapping:

I have this dress!

Well, that dress without the train. I have the ivory 1960's wedding dress shown on this site--2nd dress on the right--almost exactly, but it has small "mod" flowers on the waistband & the sleeves are trimmed with the same band & flower treatment. I've been hanging on to this for months, wondering just how to market it, and was looking at it yesterday, and it dawned on me that this would be a perfect wedding dress for a 2nd or informal wedding. Then I just read this thread this morning, and voila, there was my dress. Amazing....

Should I be listing this now?

that was the one senti liked i think - lol!
i'm not sure really - i've never experimented with wedding dress sales on ebay.. saving it all for website :)
i know maggie/denisebrain sold a few wedding dresses, or wedding style dresses lately, so she may have more of an idea.

I have a long silk jersy one as well, very simple and elegant more formal but without all the lace usually found on wedding dresses of this time, unfortunately I haven't photographed it yet.

contact me if interested in the first one.
