I decided to also post this on this side. Here are two more items I scored from that house (Two weeks ago I scored a massive amount of vintage which Iam still cleaning) . Here is the Bernhard 1950's Cashmere sweater.

Is this dress 40's or fifties. Its a black cotton dress with front panel with dice design. This panel is made form less refined cotton with a cotton dice print applique which is cut away in places.

Wow Chris. I remember you telling everyone about your haul. If this is any indication/sample, that was a major score!

I love that dice pattern.

Here is the McCardle. I am moan because it has some fading on shoulders and one side.

The cashmere is adorable. Altmann is a very good label. Some of my favorites are from that company.

That looks like the perfect summer sweater for those who live in a cooler clime, or for those who freeze in their strappy dresses the minute they hit the ACed restaurant!

That McCardell looks interesting - the only one I have found had condition problems, too. I think there will be interest in it anyway.

i think the grecian style of dress is what will save it. I might check into restoration if I cant sell it.

Now Iam looking at Seymour Jacobsen Dress. Its all together with tags but there are unfinished seams that are losely seen together with white thread.

The Oleg Cassini is very cute but its more like 1963 or 64 with that big print, full just below the knee skirt, darts and sleeve length, typical of little cotton day dresses from the early 60s. That first dress would be I guess around 1960 but it does have some features of being older. I like the domino print on the vestee.
