my first review

Congratulations - that's great! I didn't know your book, but it sounds very interesting!

And I know what YSL exhibition he's talking about I guess... I did look at certain exhibits from all sides too - just like at the exhibition in Amsterdam with all those lovely ca. 1890-1910 gowns. I'm always interested in seeing how things are constructed, though I'm not a great master at sewing.

Congrats, Claire! The book sounds wonderful....

I have been inspired by you and others here to start sewing again... (if only I could find the room to permanently set my new machine up....)

I was so excited when I posted that I forgot to tell you that this is a CD, not a book. It includes about 200 photos about the garments, but it isn't about sewing.

At the end, there are several fakes, including the fake Chanel scarves which several VFG members sent me. Some of these details are applicable to other designer scarves. Claire

So Claire - How do we go about getting one of these CDs?

How nice of you to ask. I just happen to have a nice supply. Joules taught me how to accept Paypal and checks are always good. The CDs are $40. and I'll pay shipping. Do you want them autographed? Hmm--where do you sign a CD? on the CD or on the cover?

It's easy to find my email address on Google so I'll save you the trouble: [email protected]. If you prefer checks, I'll send you my PO address.

Please include your mailing address. I won't ship until next week. I'm going to Alaska on Thursday to teach this week-end.

Thanks for asking, Claire
