ohhhhhhhh that golden dragon damask dress is a knockout, and I'm not usually partial to this style. Jonathan, any info on the label of the first dress, Madeleine Casalino? Sue
I must say.. I'm with Sue... for some reason, that golden Asian damask dress just HIT me. Something about that neckline, I think , that just really appeals to me.... Excellent selection of items, Jonathan. I envy you your sources! kristine
I didn't find much on Casalino, just a footnote in the ROM Haute Couture book. SHe designed for her Italian husband's atelier since the end of WW2.
Added some more things to the pile -- all ready to start on Monday: Hermes scarf: <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~fitsaboy/a007.jpg> Pucci scarf: <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~fitsaboy/a001.jpg> Very cool embroidered silver leather French purse; <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~fitsaboy/a010.jpg> CHanel shoes: <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~fitsaboy/a020.jpg> and more...
