My new book on vintage clothing is now available through bookshops in Australia and New Zealand - and purchase through my Melbourne shop Circa for $50.

Interested parties are welcome to contact me for a copy, and I can sign it and send it to you - unfortunately, it's a large book and weighs almost 1.5 kg so postage isn't cheap ($49.50 AUS to send airmail to the UK, $39.30 airmail to the US).

I've posted a list of costings (and local bookshops) to Circa's website, you can see it here. If you'd like a price for a location that's not covered, please let me know.

You can read a review of the book here. The book will not be available through Amazon at this time.

Is there a way we can order an autographed copy from you or is the order direct from the publisher? Are there any plans to have it available on Amazon at some point? (Much less expensive shipping for those of us in the US.)

Sadly, it's not available on Amazon - a great pity, shipping overseas from Australia is quite expensive.

Here are the rates:
UK - Air $49.50 Sea $26.80
US - Air $39.30 Sea $26.80

The good news is that for overseas people, there is no GST applicable so the book itself costs $45 instead of $50. That's AUS $, so a copy of the book plus seamail shipping would be US $64.90 according to xe.com's latest rates. Airmail is US$76.19.

The publisher can provide shipping quotes too, but a signed copy will need to come from Circa.

Nicole. Sorry for my late response. I would love to order a copy of course! Could you sign it for me please? I would love that. :) My husband, Simon is buying this for me (early Christmas pressie!) so I'm just about to send you a U2U with his PayPal address. :drinkingtoast:
 
I've just found an Australian online bookshop that can send copies overseas - I don't know what their rates are but it sounds like it's better than Australia Post. Interested parties might like to investigate:

If anyone does try it, can you please let me know: I'm interested to know how it compares.

Just ordered your book from The Bookshelf of Oz. I had to open and account (register) and then it was a breeze! Paid by PayPal. I will let everyone know when it arrives. It was about $20.00 by "economy air."

I'm really excited!!!
