I've found out that Carter's (the publisher) can ship them for cheaper than I can via Australia Post - Carter's use Skippy Post, like Bookshelf of Oz, but unlike BoO they get a rate of $29.99 AUS to send airmail to the US - BoO are quoting $20 according to Linn, so that's a pretty good deal.
I can sign copies you buy directly from me (via Circa) but it's a big saving to go to either Carter's or Bookshelf of Oz. KK from Atticville came up with a good suggestion - if you order the book through another method, I can send you an insert, upon which I can sign or write an inscription, whatever you like. Happy to cover the cost of postage to any VFG member anywhere in the world.
How does that sound? The book itself is $50 to Australia, and $45 elsewhere (no GST is applicable).

I would love a signed insert. I will let you know when I receive the book. I think the total amount of the order was $72.00 USD or close (I'm not home right now) and the differerence was due to a fluctuation in the exchange rate.) I paid by PayPal. Very easy and quick.

Just wanted to update the thread for those who plan on ordering -- I just received a message from 'Bookshelf of Oz' that they will be closed through January 11th -- and so I've just contacted Carter's for a shipping price quote. Keep fingers crossed that they're still open.
