My Silver Tiki Head Guy Bracelet

I just thought i would share...

This is my 40s Silver and Lapis Lazuli Tiki bracelet, shown much much larger than actual size. In between the tiki guy faces and the lapis, there are people doing different native things. On the right it looks like one guy is giving a vase to another guy or they are both holding it together. Or it could be a peace pipe or similar scenario with smoke coming out of the top. and the people aren't stamped, they are actually all carved out (well, you can see the light coming through them so don't have to tell you). The details are so very tiny.

I have had it for a few years now.

I considered selling it for VLV thinking it would be a sure sale, but then I decided I liked it too much and I even though I may be able to pay a bill with it, and I can't keep everything, but I would really kick myself later, I think, if I sold it. And I bruise easily LOL.

So on my wrist it stays.... at least for now. :)

I like this Chris, I would be keeping it too if it were mine.

Do NOT sell. You will regret it. I've learned the hard way that you do not have to sell everything you find. And I just love the little guy!

I really considered selling it yesterday to pay some bills, but then I thought again and said "what am I thinking? you have plenty of things that you can sell first."

I really probably would regret it because what I got for it would probably not be enough. (I would have to be made a very legitimate offer and if i sold it for pocket chnage i would be upset later. I am realistic, i don't have the queen's jewels here...but still).

The other bracelet i am holding onto is one from the 60s that is silver tone and each link is a large square tile with a knight on a horse in each one and its enamelled white around the image. I need to see if its possible to get the clasp replaced on it though.
