Again Jonathan....fabulous! Is there a label in the mocha suit? and the
ivory Victorian dress is that post civil war? (around 1870? - playing
20 guesses with myself as I down my first cup of coffee)

No label in the suit, but it has a nice provenance. SHe wore it on a TWA flight from Toronto to Vancouver in April 1957 and knitted a Mary Maxim sweater on the trip, but was a nervous flyer and had to take out all the knitting she had done because she made so many mistakes!

The wedding dress is 1856, at least that is the info that came with it, and it looks right to me, although if I had to guess I would have said 1857/58.
 
Well, I was out by a couple decades on the Victorian dress! Cute story about the suit!
