Mysterious Label

    Good morning Vintage lovers
    This label is on a delicious Velvet cape from a charity shop can anyone help with the name? I can’t make it out and despite trawling the inter have come up with Zero !
    Coumore Cowmore ... any ideas very welcome

    I tried to find something about Conmore (which I also thought I saw) but couldn't find anything.

    its rather confusing with the ms or the wa and the second last letter

    I think it’s Conmore and I did find a Conmore Dress Co dating as far back as 1909. Can you show us a photo of the entire cape?

    Pretty sure the OP in in the UK, as she refers to a charity shop, and because REGD (showing below Conmore) I also associate with the UK trademark registration, though possibly that abbreviation appears elsewhere too. Is your Conmore Dress Co in the UK?

    There's no Conmore on the UK Trademark registration database, but that isn't unusual with obsolete marks, the records don't appear to be in any way complete.

    No, the one I found was in New York. Maybe it’s a different company or the garment made it to the UK somehow.
