Nat Lewis for I. Magnin & CO.

I came across this purse. It’s got a woodgrain facade, and even came with sandpaper! It’s a Nat Lewis, and was made for I. Magnin & Co.

Does anyone have any more information on this designer? From what I understand, I. Magnin became Saks before the Macy’s Corp. completely did away with it.

It’s a very cool bag, I won’t be letting it go, but I’d like to know more.
