Need help dating two coats

    Hoping someone can help with the dating of these two coats. The Pendleton is more of a cape. Also, not sure how to describe the Hermes. Don't think I can call it a trench coat, as it's not double breasted. A raincoat or duster? It's a canvas type fabric.

    I love the Hermes. It looks like gabardine to me, probably wool gabardine. I would call it a trench coat. The second layer of cloth across the shoulder area is what makes it trench to my mind. I can't help on dating either of them.
