Found this dress but not sure if it's authentic Oscar De La Renta. It is black wool dress that is below knee length. Has a long zipper in back with a 2 inch zipper on the bottom of each sleeve. It has small shoulder pads. The dress doesn't have any lining on inside. It has an hour glass type seam at waist in front and back of dress. One of the fabric tags appears to be old but not sure if it's real because it has two dry clean instruction tags. It looks 90's? Any help would be appreciated.

  2. Hi Tesee, and welcome to the forums. As per forum rules, we can't authenticate here but I can't see why it wouldn't be genuine - it's not the sort of thing people fake, but you need to take it to an expert for them to see in person. For starters, one of the things to consider is whether the label is sewn in properly: I can't tell from your photo, but some of the stitches look loose which could suggest it's not original. The two dry clean tags are odd.

Have you clipped it to the mannequin? It seems to have a different shape to the other image. In one it looks '90s and in the other it looks '80s.
