Need some info on this vintage Adidas piece

So, I have this dope vintage Adidas top and I was wondering if anyone has some information on it. I tried searching online, but it's incredibly hard to even find pictures of it. Does anyone know if they made track pants to go with it? I know that in 2014,the design was reused for the Palace x Adidas collaboration.
I hope someone knows at least something about the piece!
 
I think it's likely 90s, outside chance for 80s but i'd err on 90s. Not much info here I'm afraid, I don't have a lot of knowledge on the sporty brands, they are very popular in a whole lot of youth groups though, so highly saleable. Sorry I couldn't be more help. There are a couple of experts round these parts who may be able to tell you more.
 
Hmm... I don't know if that's a sign or not. As long as the Apartheid regime was in place in South Africa, I know there were political and economical sanctions, so I don't know how much SA was interesting for international companies as a manufacturing country, or if that came only after the political changes which started in 1990.
