All excellent. Those yellow ones look like those from Japan that Sue talked about.
 
The yellow ones are "heel-less" shoes from about 1957. I was able to date them because the patent number was printed on them, and a check with the Patent Office website produced great diagrams of the heel design.

These have been sold and are now on their way to become part of the collection of our "shoe guru."

Ah so! Now I know that the Haymaker dress must have dated from 1954 or later. See, I <i>knew</i> I was destined to learn a lot here! :smug: Thanks again Lizzie!
