I'm getting ready to list this very cute flapper half doll. Am I correct in thinking this was the top of a pin cushion?

And what would be the best category? Dolls? Sewing collectibles?

    Thanks!

I have seen them on pin cushions, whisks, tea cozies, vanity jar covers....

I had one that was on a small whisk broom (sold it on Ebay to Nanc - that was how I met her).

This one is an 'arms up', which is more desirable than the ones that have the arms molded against the body. The 'arms away' (with no hand connection to the main body) are the most collectable, probably because they would break
    more easily.

    Any markings on this Lizzie?

    Sue,
It's marked "Germany" and some hard to read numerals, 102, I think.

Germany is good...One of my doll mags from several years ago has info on these, I'll see if I can find the info and email you.
