novice collector needs help

Looks great (checking train timetable to Hastings)!

I can only vaguely echo Liz's sensible (more informed than me) thoughts on the Quorum options. As for the Dior - interesting - it almost looks to me as though those metal decorations are a strange, updated take on deco dress clips... Am I imagining this?

of course you can use the label for resource .
also i thought the dior looked like deco style decorations
i would love to have a definate date on the item.
i have also got some real bizarre issey miyake dresses would anyone like to see pictures?

this issey miyake dress is seriously weird it took me 1/2 hour to work out how you wore it !!! more pics to follow

I dont know if you are looking for an exact year or not, but the black one is def. 80's, the rose pink one looks 70's and the creamy/white one looks 70's too ( its my favorite!) although hard to tell from the photos for sure, but im almost positive.

thank you kelly
i have fallen in love with the black dress and it is going to be my first collectors piece i know 80s isnt really vintage but i just love it .sadly the quorum dresses have to be sold but i am sure whoever buys them will love them i will display them in the shop window on saturday to give everyone walking past a treat but it will be strictly look but dont touch
the thing i like about these dresses is the elegance the cut of the fabric they just make you want to study them
i have had a few shock horror 70s frocks bought in and they definatley have the abigails party look about them more layers than a wedding cake but they are strangley attractive

you are welcome merrill. Some people LOVE the 80's items and they are the vintage of the future so if you love it, keep buying! Best of luck with the shop, i would love to have one!
