I bought this on ebay (auction) a few weeks ago, along with a few other things. It was one of those risky dark picture no description things for all of them ,and unfortunately the sellers idea of 'looks unworn' was obviously to shove everything in the washing machine and not iron them, causing colour run/shrinkage/me to have to check 2 out of the three items I spent about £80 on. But you know what? I didn't care, because miraculously the 3rd dress, that I was determined to own regardless of my bank balance had survived the wash and with a quick steam looks halfway presentable (will do it again properly before I wear it).
Here it is!

Usually when I buy I justify it by saying I can always sell it on, but this time I was bidding purely selfishly (last time that happened I spent £300 we didn't have on a 1920s sofa for refurbishment and my husband nearly killed me. I was meant to stop at £50 - I have a tendency to get carried away). Anyway, I love my new dress, and luckily it didn't get to quite so silly an amount!!
