Opera Coat or Swing Coat - Era?

Hello!

I am trying to identify the the year and style of a coat purchased, it is a dark blue crushed velvet, no tags,elbow length, lining pictured as well, slightly stiff but a beautiful coat.

Any help appreciated thank you!

A little hard to date with out seeing it, but this could be later 1930s - 1950s from what I can see. Striped linings were poular in the 50s, but that sleeve detail looks more late 30s to me.
