Hard thing to date as these styles aren't affected much by fashion. Any other labels perchance? Down the side seams, inside pockets perhaps? They will help a lot.
Other elements that will help: fabric content (cotton, nylon??), zipper brand and style of pull.
You've probably seen this but Orvis has been going since 1856. They probably commissioned the jackets for their retail customers.
