    I hope a simple question -- trying to find the history of the label -- specifically, SF or NY? Does anyone know of a site with history on the designers and location? Most searches just hit Etsy. TY

    There is a short history in the VFG Label Resource. It does not address the location, but you may be able to use some of that history to expand on.

    And actually...
    Working with the name "Aaron Parnes" from our label info, I searched "Aaron Parnes designer", and got several hits, including an eBay listing for a "1967 Press Photo Aaron Parnes, designer for New York firm of Parnes Feinstein". So that answers the question of location.
