Here are some pics of my exhibition 'WARdrobe - Fashion, Women, and World War II' which I just installed on Wednesday. It wasn't completed when I took the pics and I ran out of room on my camera before I managed to get pics of all the dresses, and none of the cases with the shoes and hats... Anyway, it opens today and will run until the end of March at the Guelph Museum. Guelph is a small university town near Kitchener-Waterloo in Southwestern Ontario. <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imagea.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imageb.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imagec.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imaged.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imagee.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imagef.jpg> <img src=http://home.cogeco.ca/~kickshaw/Imageg.jpg>
Wow, Jonathan!! That is super!! What a lot of work, too. Thanks for sharing the pics with us....especially for those of us too far away. Gail
That is FABULOUS! It looks really great, all of the dresses are gorgeous, but the one that I think is my favorite is the purple one. LOVE that one. I hope that some lovely ladies that remember this time come to see your exhibition. I think they would really enjoy it, a trip down memory lane. Thank you for sharing that. Angie
I am just looking at this again...I am loving the uniforms and the uniform inspired items the best, i think (at this very second).
