PINK PINK PINK! Is this 50\'s or 60\'s?

Another one of the finds from the estate of the museum curator-- I'm thinking 60's on this one. Yes? Or late 50's?



PINK Watercolor Dress & Coat set by Haroni

Anyone heard of the label? I've only found one reference to it on a private website, and they had a very high price tag on it. It's cretainly well made....

Ebay or save it for the site, you think? Maybe better in spring?

Definately early 60s. When you get BIG BOLD patterns like that on a 50's style dress it puts it into the 60s, even as late as 1964ish. Now, someone just recently had a Haroni label up... who was that??? I had never heard of the label, but I swear it was not 2 months ago that someone else posted that label and asked if anyone had heard of it.
 
Looks like FuzzyLizzie had a Haroni, too-- just search "Haroni" and you'll find it. Looks like they did quality work.

Thanks for the definitive date, Jonathan. That set is SO super bright and punchy-- it's already got some watchers.
In the middle of the night last night I realized that I'd forgotten to even mention the bottom layer of the skirt and the lining inside the coat-- a lovely matching pink crepe of some sort. Yum.
