I know, gross huh? The auctioneer here too likes to do that with coats and hats and it pisses me off esp one night when one his assistants put on a fur coat and it ripped. What an idiot. Once it was a fantastic hat and when I gasped audibly he removed it in a hurry!

So nice to learn more about you, Mary! Your bowling shirt sounds like it was made in heaven for you, and I can definitely understand the urge to keep that velveteen suit--yum! (And--what is it about gross heads and auctions? The balding assistants at a recurring auction I attend always "model" the hats, too, and I'm quite sure it has a negative impact on the final bid...
)
