Interesting article which lists items restricted by
countries. Some great info .....for example, Indonesia
does not allow used clothing, Italy has a slew of
clothing restrictions, including footwear of any kind.

I would love to know what the reasonings are behind some of these items. Some I just can't figure.

Damn it -- now I can't buy margarine on eBay and have American sellers mark it as 'butter' for customs... lol

Obviously some of the bans in some countries are politically and morally based and some are non-competitive for national industries to preserve domestic economies and a few are to protect from diseases entering agriculture, like used bee hives, but some of them I really don't understand like margarine to Canada!
