Hello,
I would like to sell some clothes I bought in the early 1990s from mail-order catalogs (Victoria’s Secret, Chadwick’s of Boston, Newport News, Coldwater Creek, etc.). These items are unworn, unmodified, and not laundered, because I’ve stored them in moving boxes in plastic bags since attending college in the 90s, so I’ve been carrying them with me all this time. Moving often, I never unpacked these clothes after packing them, because they were easier to move. I may move again and want to lighten my load. My problem is that I don’t know what price to sell them for. Clothing selling platforms considered them “New Without Tags”, but I still don’t know what they’re worth, if their value has decreased or increased because even though they are vintage clothes and unworn, they’re not from well-known designers. I also don’t have the receipts, so I don’t know what I paid for them. I’m considering selling these items on Instagram, instead of a clothing selling platform. Does anyone have any ideas about how to price these items?
