Excuse me for replying to my own post! I’m new here and I couldn’t figure out how to add text to my post. I bought this dress on eBay in 2018. The seller described it as being by Priscilla of Boston from the 1950s. I’m guessing it might be from the 1990s, and would be interested in hearing opinions from others. I wish there had been a tag inside the dress with a style number or some additional information, but alas, it was just this tag saying Priscilla of Boston with the dry cleaning instructions. Thank you very much!

I see 80s or 90s but it definitely has a 50s look.

It's very pretty and that train is quite dramatic!
Hi Susan, thank you so much for your reply! My hunch, when I received it, was that it had actually been made in the 90s, but definitely with the intention of evoking a style from the 50s. It seems quite new. It had absolutely no odor when I received it and has no spots and I think it’s possible that it has never been worn. I’ve had it wrapped in a sheet and placed in a cardboard box since I received it in 2018, and the condition hasn’t changed. I took it out today to look at it, just for fun! I had bought it because I was feeling nostalgic about my mom‘s beautiful 50s wedding dress one day and started looking at vintage dresses on eBay, and there it was. I’m hoping someone in my family might be interested in wearing it someday, or I might want to display it somehow, just for the joy of looking at it!

I wonder if it could actually be '50s The label matches the label in the VFG Label Resource.

There's more information about the firm on our website:

Could you take a close up photo of the label underneath that says Made in USA - and the dry cleaning instructions.

It's lovely - whenever it's from but to me it looks like '50s.
