Hi all! I posted this a few days ago but it appears that my post was amongst those lost during the maintenance. Anyway, I found this purse at an estate sale the other day. I've been desperately trying to figure out the logo of the purse maker but it is really faded. Does anyone recognize it? If not, could anyone shed some light on dating the purse? The bag is a navy blue and not black as the photo portrays. Thanks
Hi Tamszzyn. The fabric appears to be a faille, which gives it a likely late '40s to early '50s date.
