Quiksilver surfwear vintage 1986/1988

Hi !

I am a contacting you from France. I am collecting clothes from the surfwear brand "Quiksilver".

I am looking for items issued in 1986, 1987 and 1988 (only).

I created a special website and a Facebook page regarding this obsession...

Bonjour! Quiksilver are based not far from where I live, in Melbourne (which is to say they're in Torquay, a town not far away on the surf coast).

I find a lot of surfwear but don't collect '80s so tend to pass it up. I shall keep an eye out for you!

Great pic! Thanks for sharing! My sister & brother used to wear Quicksilver in the 80's, too bad I didn't hold onto it!!
 
i had a roommate that was a rep for them....we yard-saled all her rep pieces back in the early 90s, tho.

my nephew loves quicksilvers current line, and i used to LIVE in Roxy ts and board shorts in the mid to late 90s...and i STILL wear them, just not as often.

will keep my eyes out for you, as well.

I am soo happy I have found that forum :)
Couple of years ago I have bought that ROXY Quicksilver blouse in the charity shop in London, forgot about it and now during wardrobe cleaning, found it again. Could you please help me to specify the time when it was produced?

Hi Renata, and welcome to the forums.

It's best if you can start a new thread regarding the dating of your blouse - here is the forum to post your question and here are some hints on getting the best results.

For example, I can't tell much from your photo, but if you can button it up so that we can see how the collar sits, and show close ups of the labels it will help.

I think it's likely to be early to mid '90s like the other Roxy though. I found this Wikipedia page which says the company was established in 1990.
