Quilt Show

I'm not a quilter (hardly!) but I love to admire quilts and I just got back from a small quilt show held above our town hall. Six women put it on and I was particularly taken with this quilt.

It was huge and filled with old-time fabrics. I happened to meet the gal who made it and she said she got all the fabrics as reproductions. Reminded me of feedback material. So nice.

I have to admit I'm glad she used repro fabric instead of cutting up authentic (and wonderful!) novelty prints.

I don't know how I missed this thread, and how interesting that she used reproduction fabrics. I wonder how long it took her (or her group) to make it?
