Recommended selling sites, please & thanks.

FYI -- was reading a CNN article recently (Hi Laura!) where they mentioned having made a site for themselves after deciding they'd had enough of ebay's BS -- NO vintage yet, but there is a category for it. LOTS of bids, though -- so that's a good sign.
It's Bidtopia.com.
Worth a look, anyway ;)

Thanks, {kristine}. Nice to see you, honey!

I just registeredwith them, but don't se (yet) how to become a seller...

Gotta go to a job fair @ noon, so I'll check it out later.

Hi Leisa!!

Here is an article that was on CNN describing how
ebay's rivals are 'circling'. One place that is mentioned
is onlineauctions.com. I just took a look and if they
can generate traffic it looks good!

CNN article

I'm also going to look into Specialist Auctions.

I'm slightly green with envy :eyebrow2: at all the alternatives you have in the US. Unless I'm missing a trick, we're stuck with ebay in the UK...if I am missing a trick, someone please tell me!

eh, I screwed up my template for the eVS page, so wont be up for a few days. its a totally new thing there, but we should be up and running to sell within a week (once I figure out the template to help others!)

Hiya Honey!!! How great to "see" you. I'll check out the CNN thang.

sarah-jane, actually specialistauctions is a UK based site.
So far, I am leaning heavily in their direction. When I sold on eBay, I gladly shipped to the UK, so the only prob I may run into is tht it's a bit pricey to ship there from here. BUT, apparently quite a few vintage lovers who shop there are from this side of the pond, so...

1st things 1st. Gotta get a camera that's compatible with my pc.
