Remeber the CPO jackets

I had one in 1967. Burgandy in color and we gals would wear them with skin tight jeans that actually were too short ( about mid calf) Its a wonder I didn't pass out from wearing them that tight. Any ways this is sorta like it but with a more western hippie thang going on. Is there a name for this type of jacket. Navy blue wool with rawhide strings

Oh and Hollis said it may be like a re enactors jacket like a frontier jacket style. Its more like a shirt jacket style.
