This week the Vintage Fashion Guild pays tribute to a beloved icon, the beautiful and talented Irish-born actress and singer, Maureen O'Hara. With her trademark red hair, dazzling smile and huge expressive eyes she stole our hearts on the silver screen with a career spanning 1930s - 2000. The 1947 classic holiday film, "Miracle on 34th Street," set in New York City's Macy's department store, epitomized the working woman in the late 1940s. Think late Forties: Working girl suits, fancy dresses, picture hats, glittering jewelry, heeled shoes, swing coats, fur muffs, embellished gloves, winter clothes, boots, holiday themed items; and we'd be delighted to include Macy's department store items too!
