The 1956 ad is ambiguous - they could be recognizing her as the designer, but working under a different label. Like they do today, when referring to one of the new designers working under an established label... What is the date on this one? (see attached) The shoe looks mid 60s

Jonathan is spot on with his dating as always! I found ads referring to “reptilian splendor” in 1978-1986. The boot heels are thicker than yours though. They retailed for about anywhere between $40-$80 in those days
