I wish I had seen the show, but it didn't happen and his book has been promised to me by Santa (or else...) I have had the privilege of handling some McQueen clothes and I must say he really was an artist. His ability to create even what appear to be simple dresses are engineering marvels.

I visited the exhibition 2 years ago in NY ...and was something incredible...I waited more than 3 hours (I was in NY only for 9 hours but I really wanted saw it) because of the long row...but nothing comparable with exhibitions saw before...was really theatrical and drammatic and amazing!!! After I bought the catalog and yes you can feel some of the atmosphere. A little curiosity..saw the hands of the dummies ... are real no dummies's hands.. somebody told me how they worked for the catalog but I don't rememeber

The show was stunning! It was a true homage worthy of the incredible artist McQueen was. The book is lovely as well, I would highly recommend it to anyone who missed the exhibit!
